Zuck Confirms Threads for Web Coming This Week

Hey, guess what?! That Threads web version everyone's been buzzing about? It's launching this week! Yep, you read that right. Even the big boss, Mark Zuckerberg, took a break from his usual stuff to drop this juicy tidbit with some cheeky humor and photo proof.

Zuck confirms threads for web

Remember when Threads first popped up in July? It came outta nowhere as an app for both iOS and Android. Looks like Meta pushed up the release to capitalize on some wild stuff happening over on Twitter/X. Initially, their website had nothing but a countdown and app links. Then, it transformed into a view-only feed. If you wanted to post or do pretty much anything, you had to get the app.

Oh, and speaking of the app, it became an overnight sensation! Probably 'cause Instagram peeps could jump in without all the signup hassle. They bagged a whopping 100M users in just a blink. Although they kept updating the app, the web version was MIA.

But now, after tons of users went "We want Threads on the web!", Zuckerberg finally hinted about its arrival a month ago. And, guess what? The WSJ spilled the beans just yesterday that it's coming this week. So, for everyone wanting to check out Threads without downloading another app – your wish is Meta's command!

P.S. – If you're wondering about all this Threads vs. Twitter/X drama, apparently there's a rivalry with Elon Musk's X. But that's tea for another day. Cheers!
