Apple is gearing up to unveil a fresh band for its Apple Watch Series 9 later in 2023, as per the insights shared by an Apple gadget enthusiast, "Kosutami."

This anticipated Apple Watch strap is believed to be crafted from a woven fabric and will sport a magnetic clasp, drawing parallels to the already available Modern Buckle strap. The introduction of this band is expected to coincide with the launch of the new Apple Watch variants this year. Kosutami reports that this band is probably tailored for the Apple Watch Series 9, not the second-gen Apple Watch Ultra. The magnetic strap will be priced at $99, matching the cost of the Braided Solo Loop.

The Modern Buckle leather band was first introduced by Apple with the inaugural Apple Watch in 2014. As described by Apple, "While appearing as a unified buckle, it's a two-part magnetic fastening that offers effortless securing." This band is exclusively compatible with the smaller watch case size and carries a $149 price tag.

In terms of features and design, the Apple Watch Series 9 and the next-gen Apple Watch Ultra are anticipated to remain largely consistent with their predecessors, save for the new S9 chip promising enhanced performance and some fresh hues, notably pink aluminum and a dark titanium shade. The updated gadgets are expected to debut with the iPhone 15 series come September.
